For all new construction projects, download the New Construction Application and Checklist PDF and submit it to the MLHOA. Before any construction can begin, it must be reviewed and approved by the MHOA ARB. This ensures rules and regulations concerning structures and landscaping, run off, and other concerns meet the MLHOA building standards.

Architectural Plan

Landscape Plan
- Existing & Post Construction grades and drainage with Gutters
- Landscape lighting

- Retaining walls
- Type, Number, and Size of plants
Exterior Materials Display Board
- Siding
- Trim, soffit, and fascia
- Accessory material i.e. rock
- Deck and railing
On Site Review
- String Line – property boundaries
- Stirng line – house and driveway location
- Mark all trees outside of house/drive footprint
- Stake identifying first floor grade height
Fees and Deposits Paid
- $1,500 Road Protection Deposit
- $10,000 Completion/Compliance Deposit
- MLHOA dues and fines are paid
